Do you suffer from Neck Pain?
The Anatomy of the Neck
The neck consists of a complex system of bone, muscle, cartilage, tissue, and ligaments. All of these components work together to provide a full range of movement. If any of these components are damaged, strained, or inflamed, you will experience some form of pain.
The neck includes seven vertebrae, and these vertebrae form the top half of the spinal column. They’re kept in place by ligaments and connected by small joints that allow you to move your head around. There are discs of cartilage between the vertebrae that act as cushions and shock absorbers.
